AR + online fashion.

The idea is to take online shopping to a whole new level. Online shopping has become a major part of our daily lives, it's quick, simple, and hassle-free, a couple clicks later and your order is delivered to your home by the next day. However online shopping can sometimes be difficult, especially when it comes down to trying on clothing. We often order online, try it on and the majority of the time we send it back. This can be a nuisance to us as customers, companies, and delivery drivers. So how do we come across this? we could go into the store and try a collection of clothing. Or what if we could virtually try clothing from home. No need to go to the store.

So, how does it work? it works simply by,

1.) Finding a product you wish to try on.

2.) Click the AR symbol on the top right corner

3.) For best results use a long mirror.

4.) Face your rear-facing camera to the mirror, as you would take a selfie.

5.) To which the products will virtually snap onto you.

Why AR and online fashion?

The simple reason, pollution. Companies tend to use plastic bags to keep products damaged free but what happens to the plastic bag when we've torn the delivery bag open? it ends up in the bin or unable to be reused again. This means we are double the number of plastics to our environment. But not only plastic pollution is the problem, but it's also pollution from transport. We are doubling the amount of pollution, by shopping online.
